  The Paramount Ruler of Yewa Land The Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, MFR turns 56 this Sunday, 4th December,  2022 . Although sources from the palace indicate that there are no special programmes lined up for the day, different groups, individuals and well-wishers have put in place low-key activities and special prayers to felicitate the highly revered monarch on this special occasion. Yewa Descendants Union UK & Ireland takes School Furniture Donation To Imala and Igan Alade

  St. John Anglican School, Imala  Yewa Central Primary School, Igan Alade.  In continuation of its determination to help in improving education across Yewaland, Yewa Descendants Union (YDU) UK and Ireland has added schools in Imala  and Igan Alade to the growing list of schools that have benefitted from its school furniture donations. Pupils of St John Anglican Primary School in Imala, a Yewa town in Abeokuta North Local Government Area and Yewa Central Primary School, Igan Alade in Yewa North Local Government Area are the latest beneficiaries of the school furniture donation from Yewa Descendants Union UK and Ireland. The YDU school furniture project is being facilitated by individual members of the Yewas in diaspora union. The donation to St. John Anglican Primary School, Imala was facilitated by Alhaji Ganiyu Adejumo while the furniture donation to Yewa Central Primary School, Igan Alade was facilitated by Mr. Obasanjo Kudoro.
