Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi campaigns in Ado Odo, Ere, Alapoti, promises unprecedented development
The APC Candidate for Ogun West Senatorial seat in the coming general election in Ogun State has commenced his stakeholders engagement tour of Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area with rallies in Ado Odo I, Ado Odo II, Ere and Alapoti Wards of the Local Government Area.
His first point of call was the Isale Ado family compound of Late Wale Hassan, a stalwart of the All Progressive Congress APC in Ado Odo/Ota and a staunch supporter of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi who died in the early hours of Tuesday January, 17, 2023.
The news of the death of Late Wale Hassan broke on the morning of the commencement of Senator Adeola's campaign rallies in. Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area necessitating a shift forward of the Senator's stakeholders engagement Ado Odo Ota by a day which the Senator described as a move to honour the dead.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Finance commiserated with the family of the late APC stalwart and prayed for the repose of his spirit. He promised the family of late Hassan that he will always be available to support the extended and nuclear family of the departed financial expert.
Describing late Wale Hassan, Senator Adeola said the departed APC strong man he had been with him for a long time adding that their relationship had been a supportive one because they belong to the same profession as accountants.
The stakeholders engagement led Senator Solomon Adeola and his campaign train to the four Wards of Ado I, Ado Odo II, Ere and Alapoti where he was appreciated for coming to have first hand experience of the needs of the people in the mentioned corridor of Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Areas.
Top on the list of requests made to the Senator who will be returning as a ranking Senator to the red chamber of the National Assembly for the third time in May was good road which the people described a key areas needing the intervention of the Senator.
Pa Amos Iroko, a community leader in Ere eulogized Senator Adeola as an experienced lawmaker whose antecedent as a political office holder in Lagos is giving them the believe that he can help the situation of Ere when he is voted into office as Senator representing Ogun West.
Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi called on the people of the visited Wards to place experience above every other consideration in voting him into office. He explained that going for a novice in the coming election will keep stagnating Ogun West growth and development adding that he already has all it takes to bring the attention of the Federal Government down to Ogun West.
At Ere Ward, the APC candidate who had recently given them a transformer promised additional two for Ayede and Ere which he said will be delivered to boost power supply to the people in not more than two weeks. Each of the transformers will come with one million naira each for them to be energized. Igbekon and any other community to be decided by the leaders will also get transformers from the Senator.
He also gave his words that having noticed the dilapidated state of the secondary school in the area, he will construct a 12 blocks of classrooms to make learning conducive for the pupils of the School.
At Alapoti, he also promised the people a new transformer to support the restoration of power supply to the area . He gave financial support to women to boost their trades and did same for the youths to get them positively engaged.
In all of the Wards visited, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi applauded Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR for the noticeable impact of his administration in the area of road construction in particular. He called on the people to give the governor another term in office for him to be able to continue the good work he is doing.
Senator Adeola in Ado Odo urged the electorates to vote massively for Engr. Tunji Akinosi into the House of Representatives and Hon. Musefiu Lamidi Ebe in as member representing them in the Ogun State House of Assembly. He gave his words to partner the duo in bringing unprecedented development into Ogun West.
Prominent political leaders in the entourage of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi to the four Wards visited were Chief Mufutau Ajibola, Engr. Tommy Akintonde, Chief Mrs Matilda Apampa, Pa Bisiriyu Popoola, Chief Jide Ojuko and others.
Too bad that we lost Alh. Wale Hassan at this critical period in his political life, and the entire Ado-Odo environs need of all the best we can have.
