Otunba Subomi Balogun’s Exit: I lost a Mentor, Says Senator Kola Bajomo


Senator Kola Bajomo, a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who represented Ogun West Senatorial District at the 6th Senate and a former President of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), in a Press Release eulogizes late Otunba Balogun Subomi as his Mentor in the Banking Industry. According to him, “Otunba Balogun Subomi was my Mentor and one of the few I was looking up to for guidance in the Banking and Finance Industry”.


Senator Bajomo in his condolence letter to the Balogun Subomi’s family says Otunba Subomi, a founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has left a big vacuum in Nigeria being an astute investment Banker and an Industrialist of repute during his life time. He prays for the family that the Lord will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
