APC Yewa North inaugurates local government election campaign committees


Preparatory to the forth coming Local Government election in Ogun State and leaving no stone unturn in achieving total victory, the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Yewa North Local Government Area has inaugurated its Campaign Committees.


Highlight of the event which kickstarts campaign activities for the November 16 local government election was the official presentation of APC party flag to the flagbearers by the leadership duo of Chief Olu Agemo and and Chief Bisiriyu Popoola to the chairmanship candidate, his vice and the candidates for councillorship positions.


Also, members of the different committees that will work to see APC coming out victorious in the election were presented with their letters of appointment.


The event which held at the APC party Secretariat in Ayetoro had in attendance party leaders across Yewa North with the list including Chief Olu Agemo, Chief Bisiriyu Popoola, Jagunmolu Jamiu Akande Omoniyi, Ogun State Commissioner for Housing, Rt. Hon. Suraj Adekunbi, Hon. Adegoke Awoso, Hon. Sunday Kojeku, Chief Adekunle Adeosun, Yewa North APC party chairman, Hon. Tunde Bankole and Hon. Tajudeen Amoo.


Others are Chief Sunday Akinyemi, Hon. (Mrs) Bukola Omoyayi, Chief Oderinde, Hon. Gabriel Falola, Alhaji Kamorudeen Olaifa, Chief Jackson Isikalu, Hon. Kayode Abiola. Mr. Olusola Akinbode the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Joseph Ilori, the candidate for the position of vice chairman among others.


Speaking in the same vein at the inauguration, Chief Olu Agemo, Chief Bisiriyu Popoola, the party Chairman, Chief Adekunle Adeosun and the Director General, Hon. Sunday Kojeku called for members of the campaign committees and other party faithfuls to work together for the party to emerge victorious.
